Hi, I’m Zion and welcome to my website!
For as long as I can remember, I have been surrounded by creativity. I learned to draw from my mother, and that what started with redrawing my mother’s tattoos has developed itself into the works that I make now.
I have been through a lot and have been able to see some of the world. I try to process my stories and feelings into my paintings: from the bond with my parents, my origins and heritage to my self-image and sense of self-worth.
I like to incorporate symbolism in my paintings as someone would use metaphors in language, the images are often a slight surreal depiction of my feelings and/or experiences. I am now studying in artschool, where I am discovering my style and developing ways to get my visions onto canvas.
