“For as long as I can remember, I have been surrounded by creativity. What started off as drawing to pass time, has developed itself into an important tool for self expression.”
Zion Irwin (b. 2006, San Francisco) works primarily with themes related to identity when making her paintings. She alternates between processing memories of the past and discovering her current self and emotions, as she portrays herself and others figuratively in her oil paintings.
Besides painting and drawing, Zion is currently discovering different media as a student at the Breitner Academie, Amsterdam.
